I Feel I Helped Brent Corrigan Become A Mainstream Actor

If blogs are the key to a performer’s success, I feel that my blog helped Brent Corrigan achieve great success as a mainstream actor, and judging by the PERSONALLY autographed poster he signed for me (above), it’s clear that Brent Corrigan agrees.

Brent Corrigan/Sean Paul Lockhart recently announced that production has wrapped on his new mainstream film, Welcome To New York, and I can’t help but think I had a hand in this and his entire mainstream career after publishing one of my blog posts, “The Top 10 Pictures Of Brent Corrigan And Horses,” which received so many comments and was reblogged incessantly, bringing Sean Paul Lockhart to the forefront and now a mainstream actor. I don’t claim all the credit, as adorable Sean Paul Lockhart does have the Hollywood look of boy next door (plus there’s his cute haircut), and he’s a great fit for mainstream movies. Just look at his three movies thus far, Judas Kiss, I Was A Teenage Werebear, and The Big Gay Musical. Click here for more of Sean Paul Lockhart.

  1. Uh Hello Butter face.
    The classic quote from Tootsie
Director: “Camera one pan back, lets make her a little more attractive.”
Cameraman: “How far back, New Jersey?”

  2. how is he “mainstream”? i’ve never seen him on a billboard or on Entertainment Tonight. there is nothing mainstream about his movies. except maybe “fuck me raw” and “naughty boy’s toys”.

    1. One of the Chris

      Brent Corrigan in “Entertainment Weekly.”

The movie wasn’t exactly a box office hit because it hardly played in theaters at all but it is actually doing pretty well among its target audience: people who like to see giant killer sperm attacking the Statue of Liberty and watch a guy dressed like Hitler crack “accidental” dirty jokes. It was made for minimal money and will probably give its backers a better return than the latest spiderbatsuperman reboot. So while not exactly mainstream, real professionals with real skills who make their living making movies and TV shows and music videos and who choose their actors and choose those who are professional and have talent other than fitting one or more very large things into a very small hole.

  3. I love him but he’s much better in Judas Kiss. He’s still too unsure of himself on screen to pull off the full out camp shenanigans required for something like this. It was cute for what it was, a fun little parody, but he can do more and I think he will.
