I’ve edited our email correspondence from today to appear in chronological order:
Regarding the following post:
Please remove the Nous Model Management Behind the Scenes promotional video. You do not have permission to post the video nor the licensed music. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.
The video in question is hosted on YouTube. If you don’t want it shared on the internet, I suggest you simply remove the video from your YouTube channel.
It is shared on our Youtube channel. You don’t have permission to post it on your site. I am not asking you to take the post down just that video. I am responding to a request from the director and the creator of the music. Please let me know if you are going to comply or if I should proceed to the next step. -Kenya
It’s not a matter of “permission.” The video is publicly available, with an embed code that you’ve made available. If you don’t want it shared, make the video private, or like I said, simply pull the video from YouTube.
I am not taking the video down. Feel free to “proceed to the next step.” -Zach
I do not own the rights to the music and have removed the embed code.
You uploaded a video with music you don’t own the rights to? LOL.
I was granted specific rights but I don’t own it. Anyway, thanks for the quick reply. Happy holidays!
The video in question is no longer embeddable, but here’s another video from the Nous Model Management Youtube channel featuring Kenya herself. I hope she has the rights to the “Tyra” show!
