But because of tedious legal issues regarding an asylum seeker’s
original place of entry within the EU, The Hague this week rejected
Kazhami’s asylum bid and is telling him to return to Britain from
whence he came. His attorney is weighing an appeal to the European Court of Human Rights, however it does not appear that Britain intends to be complete assholes about this. Britain’s Border and Immigration Agency issued a statement regarding Kazhami which says: “We examine with great care each individual case before removal and we
will not remove anyone who we believe is at risk on their return.”
Moral of the story: Don’t be born in Iran.
