Not that the casts and the crews of all the movies that Brent Corrigan has been in aren’t hardworking, talented artists, but let’s be honest, please. His name–with all the baggage that comes with it–sells, at least to gay moviegoers who know it. It doesn’t hurt that he can actually act, too.
Who, for example, is the draw from this upcoming feature, Sister Mary? Bruce Vilanch in overalls or Brent Corrigan shirtless?

Sorry bust all of your loads here but ARE you fucking kidding me? This movie looks horrible. I understand that Brent is a gay porn actor who wants to transition into this more lead man role. By doing these kinds of movies isn’t going to give him the right credentials to cross the border of cinema. If we want to prove that gay porn actors can in fact, move onto the real Hollywood then they should be getting some of the BEST acting coaches, agents, and move roles. Brent doesn’t seem like he’s choosing the right ones. Perhaps, he just wants something easier that throws him back into the porn field of being disrobed which of course, LURES the audience into watching his physical being take action. “Lets watch Brent move, oh my god, let’s watch him talk, wait wait..he’s going to kiss him…man he sure does have a pretty hole.” Shit like that. I mean is that what talent is really about? Is that what our gay community networks want to produce to represent what we are REALLY capable of? No, you know what? I think we can do better, a LOT better. For starters, the actors need to learn how to fucking act. Second, the writer’s need to be challenged more. Third, we need better budgeting in order to inhibit bad press on these types of movies and actors who actually want to move ahead. Sorry but this looks like a piece of shit movie. Horrible. Not worth my time or anyone, for that matter.

I’m planning on watching Judas Kiss, but only because Charlie David is in it.
Aw my Brent is fab yet again. I think he shot this one a couple of years back. Hope it comes out soon so we can see more of him.
His names sells in the gay community for sure, but he’s also got quite a large female following as well :)
