We’ve already seen gay men using jockstraps as face masks, but are straight men hopping on the trend too?
Sam Asghari, Britney Spears’ boyfriend since 2016, raised a lot of eyebrows this week when paparazzi spotted him running outside with what looks like an athletic cup around his face. I mean, we’ve all sniffed some dirty underwear before, but this is taking it to the next level.

So what’s going on with him? Is it a cup? Is it a used and dirty cup? Is it his own cup? Can I sniff his cup? Why is he wearing a cup in quarantine? Is Britney an aggressive lover so Sam has to wear a cup around her, but then he’s turned on so he has to sniff it while running? Well… none of those are probably the correct answer to what’s actually going on here.
Some Twitter users were quick to point out that while this looks like an athletic cup, it’s actually just a silly looking face mask.
The mask is from O2 Canada and goes for around $70. So if you want to look like a fool running around your neighborhood, you can do so for the low, low price of $70! Or just buy an athletic cup on Amazon for $10, tie some elastic around it, and you basically have the same thing.
We would shame Sam for wearing this ridiculous face mask, but the 26-year-old is hot as fuck when he runs around shirtless, so we don’t really care what he has on his face. As long as he’s shirtless and running where the paparazzi can see him, we’re fine with whatever he wants to do.
