Good news! Despite layoffs, a location change, downsizing into a smaller company, and even announcing that production was “finishing,” Jake Cruise has revealed today that CocksureMen is actually not going anywhere at all.
As I reported last month, Jake Cruise Media is undergoing a major re-organization. The ranch where a majority of their content is filmed is up for sale and staffers have been let go, but Jake Cruise himself would like to clear a few things up. He tells The Sword exclusively:
Please let your viewers know that CocksureMen.com is staying alive and healthy.
As for selling our Ranch, we didn’t even own it. We had leased it and the lease is up. The owners are selling it. We are currently moving to a new studio this weekend.
That’s a misunderstanding. I can’t go into long details on Twitter. We were finishing up “current” production because we can’t move and produce at the same time. We still shot a few scenes that had already been scheduled. We will commence shooting again after the move, probably early October. We already have models lined up for October.
What has really happened is that we took a break from production for our move. We did lay off several staff members, going from 10 to 5. But that’s a restructuring. We are switching from in-house post production to off site post-production, saving a lot of money.
With regards to the move, our lease was up and the owners wanted to sell. We’re moving into a large house in the San Fernando Valley (of course) with a private back yard and a beautiful swimming pool. So we will have some hot pool and spa scenes in the near future.
Look for new models and new locations (can’t wait to see the pool!) on CocksureMen in the coming days.
