This is… um… certainly one way to protect yourself from COVID-19.
Actor Emerson Collins posted a video online yesterday showing how any proud jockstrap owner can turn their strappy underwear into a fashionable face mask. Just a couple of loops around the head and BAM! You have a brand new facemask.
The video tutorial shows Emerson modeling his large personal collection of jockstraps on his face and he emphasizes that you can color coordinate your jock mask to your outfit of choice. Because if you’re not matching your Trixie Mattel tank top to your jockstrap face mask, are you even gay?

Emerson wasn’t the only crafty gay with this idea though. Comedy writer Michael Newman posted his own method for transforming a jock into a mask. Unfortunately, this method requires actually cutting up one of your jockstraps, so maybe don’t do this to your favorite jock.
Check out Michael’s method below:

Fans started replying to Emerson’s video and showing off their own DIY masks. Hopefully everyone washed their jocks first.

One last thing – if you’re interested in seeing the entire scene that’s featured in the header image, head over to Gaycest to see all the jock on jock action.
Cannot help but think of the movie “16 Candles” where the jocks for the nerds to wear jocks on their heads. But no surprise here. Seen women make masks out of their bras.
