Joys of Gay Sex Lost on Montanans

According to discontent Paul Cohen, a local Jew-turned-evangelical
Christian and one of the people who have publically called for the book
to be removed, the Joy of Gay Sex ” is full of explicit drawings of
male homosexual acts of every kind imaginable. … If I were to hand
this same book to your child on the sidewalk outside the library, I
would be arrested (as well I should be).”

It seems the evangelist can’t imagine having possession of any text
without foisting it on impressionable young folk. Since we remember
fondly parsing a similar straight manual in our own parents home, we’re
happy to hear that they decided to keep it, hopefully somewhere near
the restroom.

Montana isn’t the only Western state to have trouble stocking the book. A librarian in Idaho resigned recently after local outrage over the book.

  1. “. . .the Joy of Gay Sex ‘is full of explicit drawings of male homosexual acts of every kind imaginable.'”

Sounds to me like Mr. Cohen has spent a lot of time “imagining” possible homosexual acts, if he’s so sure this book covers the bases.
