The adult social platform JustFor.fans just announced that they’ve added Black Lives Matter to their Charitable Giving Program.
The Charitable Giving Program gives JustFor.fans models the opportunity to donate a percentage of their income directly to charities. Other organizations involved in the Charitable Giving Program include the Free Speech Coalition, The HIV League, Pineapple Support, Point of Pride, SWOP USA, Trans Lifeline, and Woodhull Freedom Foundation. Since launching the program last year, over $15,000 has been raised for these organizations.
“The JustFor.fans Giving Program was established over a year ago so that our community could help those in need,” said a company representative in a statement. “We are added Black Lives Matter to our designated list of charities, so models who are able to donate and help take a stand can do so without sacrificing their livelihoods.”
Black Lives Matter is a non-profit organization founded in 2013 in response to the acquittal of Trayvon Martin’s murderer. In reaction to the murder of George Floyd and countless other Black Americans, the organization is currently fighting to #DefundThePolice.
“Currently, we are fighting two deadly viruses: COVID-19 is threatening our health. White Supremacy is threatening our existence. And both are killing us every single day,” reads a post on the Black Lives Matter website. “We demand real transformation NOW. Transformation that will hold law enforcement accountable for the violence they inflict, transformation of this racist system that breeds corruption, and transformation that ensures our people are not left behind.”

JustFor.fans addition of Black Lives Matter comes after last Saturday’s Grabby Awards where JustFor.fans creator Dominic Ford made a bold statement before presenting the JustFor.fans Fan Favorite Award. The show was filled with acceptance speeches that addressed and supported Black Lives Matter, but Ford said he wanted the sentiment to go beyond people’s speeches.
“Black lives matter, and it’s great that we can use our platform to say that,” said Ford. “I’m watching all of the (video clips for Best Movie), I’m not seeing a lot of people of color. And so my hope for us this year is to use our platform to hire more people of color—in front of the camera, behind the camera, in the office. Because that’s what is going to end up mattering.”
If you’re not a content creator on JustFor.fans and are interested in donating directly to Black Lives Matter, you can visit their website. JustFor.fans users can also use the “Explore” page and search by Charitable Giving to discover models who are donating money to certain causes.
