Kathy Griffin is wishing everyone’s favorite gay porn site a happy 20th anniversary! The comedy icon took to Twitter and Instagram on Friday to send her congratulations to NakedSword and even shared a photo of her now-legendary sword.
“Congratulations @naked_sword for 20 years! I’m humble to be an honorary swordsman…swordwoman,” Griffin wrote. “Thanks for the flowers! XXOO…”
Griffin’s NakedSword sword was actually a big topic of conversation earlier this year. The comedian revealed that the weapon, which was originally given to her by Sister Roma at the 2007 GayVN Awards, was seized during a federal investigation that launched after her Donald Trump photo scandal.
“Then, during my under oath interrogation ― because I want people to know I didn’t just, like, get a phone call. I had to actually be interrogated under oath,” Griffin said. “And they said, ‘Do you have any weapons?’ and I was like, ‘I actually have a sword,’ and they were like, ‘Oh boy.'”
The sword has obviously since come back into Griffin’s possession since the investigation. It’s safe at home and available for the occasional “congratulations for 20 years” photo!
