That MTV Video Music Awards have kinda been a flop for a while now and last night’s big ceremony was no exception. The performances were lacking, barely anyone of note was in attendance, and all of the awards given out were incredibly predictable with trophies only being handed to acts who actually showed up. It was an incredible waste of time.
That being said, some of the few bright spots in the once-iconic award show belonged to performers like Chlöe, Normani, and Lil Nas X – our certified power bottom and thirst trap king. For his set, Lil Nas performed his most recent single Industry Baby with Jack Harlow and ended it with a splash of the chart-topping song Montero (Call Me By Your Name).
While the entire performance absolutely slapped, the Montero portion of the set is probably going to be the part that’s most interesting to anyone reading this blog. After Jack’s Industry Baby verse, the camera shifts to the other side of the stage where we’re suddenly met with Lil Nas X and a hoard of dancers wearing only tight underwear while replicating the headline-making nude shower scene from Lil Nas X’s recent music video.
We then get to watch Lil Nas X perform some hot choreography, rub his hands all over his bulging crotch, and adjust the bright pink underwear that’s gripping his twunky bubble butt. Unfortunately for us, the excessive fog that’s covering the stage slightly ruins our view of Lil Nas and his dancers thrusting and touching themselves during specific moments in the number. The fog clears out towards the end of the set though and we’re left with a stunning view of the dozen plus dancers surrounding the rapper while rubbing all up on themselves. After his number and many, many, many others, Lil Nas X went on to win Video of the Year for his Montero (Call Me By Your Name) music video. In addition to the top honor of the night, the controversial music video, which had previously sparked outrage from online conservatives over a scene that shows Lil Nas giving Satan a lap dance, also took home the awards for Best Direction and Best Visual Effects.
In his acceptance speech for Video of the Year, the openly gay singer took a jab at his critics by thanking “the gay agenda” and prompting everyone to give “the gay agenda” a cheer. He then went on to thank his team and plug his upcoming Montero album that’s expected to drop later this week.
“Let’s GOOOOOOO,” Lil Nas X screamed as he took the stage to accept his award. “Oh my god. First, I want to say thank you to the gay agenda. Let’s go gay agenda!”

Never got the hype and never will. He seems more like the show pony for gays rather than this revolutionary artist. Old Town Road is dead now and there’s really no talent so over sexual foolery is his only route. It’s old, it’s boring and it’s tasteless.
Just one more “artist” who really can’t sing so has to do something provocative to get attention.

Excellent question! If he were a white artist, he would be stoned in a public square by the politically correct on duty. And I add: and the non-thin dancers, where are they? Smell of hypocrisy!
