With his chirpy organs set on joyful repetition, Nathan employs direct phrases into his songs that make their way into your mind before you’ve had a chance to refute them. Sometimes happy (“If you want it, you can have it!””) and other times threatening (“See ya later” can’t help but feel like a kiss-off before being shot in the head), Nathan employs a dichotomy we’ve all known since having childhood nightmares about clowns. He’s way too happy, might be insane, and is definitely evil. …In the best possible way, of course.
