Ubiquitous porn “star” Markie More is retiring from the industry, citing a change in his personality and views towards pornography.
More, who had previously tried to retire (but came right back, mind you!) is citing moral beliefs. In 2017, he was a prominent figure on Next Door Studios. Since leaving the studio, More focused on his fan accounts, links to which have since been taken off his twitter.
“I can no longer promote lustful and deviant behavior,” Markie wrote in a tweet. He continued, “Lust is a monster and the more you feed it, the hungry it gets.” Read the full tweet exchange below.
This is a hard one for me. Late last year, More bravely discussed leaving Next Door Studios, and made allegations against director Rocco Fallon (a/k/a Tucker Scott) for supposedly threatening his life.
I can understand leaving the industry if you feel wronged by your peers. I understand leaving if it’s not interesting or fun or where your life is headed anymore. But to leave because the profession that afforded you a very comfortable living involves acts that are suddenly “deviant” in your eyes? That’s just a not fair.
We can respect his struggles and the adversity he claims to have faced, while also feeling insulted by his recent moves. Struggle and how we act on it are not mutually exclusive. As you can see in this incredibly insightful exchange:
So what do you think? Has Markie had a “born-aGAYn Christian” moment and should be left to move on, and deal with his life in his own space? I Or can he go fuck himself for pinning this move on ‘deviant’ sex? Whatever you think, I wish him well, but I say to him, “Thank you. Next.”

Markie tattooed “be kind” on one forearm and “stay humble” on the other. I doubt seriously that he referred to gay sex itself as deviant. The quality of porn like everything else in this world has suffered greatly. I “grew up” watch directors like Joe Gage, who did good porn while commenting lightly on human condition. You can tell that the producers of porn today are there to get THEIR rocks off. Example: how many lame interviews have you suffered where you can hear the cameraman/director clear as a bell and not the answers he next victims are giving. As with a lot of things its’ become a race to the bottom making the guys do gross stuff just for gross sake. If you’re gonna have a guy spit on another guy there needs to some (dare I say) plot build up. But guys are spitting on each other like they camels and you can tell it because the so-called director can’t really direct. It’s not about making porn high art, but it is about giving it more respectability than used toilet paper or a tampon.
I’m pretty sure if the word “deviant” passed Markie’s lips it was in relation to how the men are treated. Nothing disgusts me like having the ‘director’ say shaming things after the cum shot to the guy after cajoling so hard to get them to let his hair down in the first place. How many producers don’t make money from their films and don’t really care because the video is little more than a trick on camera for the directors titillation.
I guarantee if producer/director treated these guys like people doing a job instead of ONLY as pieces of meat there wouldn’t be so many sour retirements.
He’s been one of my favorites for a long time – will be sorry to see him go. But gotta say – he doesn’t look well in that recent photo. Might just be a bad shot – or the loss of fat from his face because the focus is on keeping his body so buff and ripped! – but his face looks haunted. There are definitely issues there! Hope the poor guy finds some peace and happiness with whatever he chooses to do next.
Way to go Markie, Here’s wishing you the best.
You are the only one who knows your heart. Follow it!
I don’t think he’s refering to gay sex specifically, but more like about the gay porn industry as a whole, to which I can agree with. There are way too many thirsty geeks fucking random dudes on fan sites in order to find some coins and validation that come across as needy. You need to have a life outside of porn, this industry can be dangerous and destructive if you don’t know your worth and imo many of these performers popping out of these fan sites thinking they’re someone just don’t know what they’re doing.
I don’t need to see another Casey incident, wake the fuck up already and do something.
I guess this can happen when one loses his hair. That’s a hard looking 26!
He didn’t call gay sex “deviant”, stop clickbaiting.
I like his movies. Oh well, hope he has found his calling. It’s ok to call it whatever he wants to call it, it’s his opinion and he’s entitled to it. We don’t have to agree or disagree, or make it more dramatic than it is.
Where did he say gay sex is deviant? I understand he’s just tired of sex of any kind.
