Health issues are personal, and it’s rare for performers to be transparent about them. However, Masculine Jason is a different story. He’s never afraid to discuss his journey with his fans via social media, but he doesn’t use them as a crutch for pity. Rather, he keeps them in the loop and uses the opportunity as a teaching moment. Masculine Jason recently opened up about the extent of his health issues and why it’s important not to use them as a crutch.
The gay porn performer wrote on his Instagram Story (also shared on Twitter) about his frustration with people who give “excuse after excuse of why they aren’t doing this or that.” He backed his words up with the health issues he “struggle[s] with on a daily basis that might put things in perspective.”
“Keep in mind that I’m usually on oxygen when I’m not on camera, I’ve had two heart attacks, I take over 50 pills a day, multiple inhalers, and I have a lifetime handicap placard,” the performer wrote. “However, I would NEVER describe myself as disabled. I refuse to let any of the following health problems hold me back from anything.”
He went on to list the following health problems: “Congestive heart failure Pulmonary hypertension, COPD, Restrictive cardiomyopathy, Growth hormone deficiency, Exocrine pancreatic insufficiency, Type 2 diabetes, Essential tremor, Arthritis Gastroesophageal reflux disease, Severe gastroparesis, SIBO, Inflammatory bowel disease, Coronary artery disease, Severe sleep apnea, Lymphedema, and Recurrent Clostridium difficile.”
Twitter user @TJD2755 responded, “Is a lot of this related to steroids?” Masculine Jason wrote back, “No, the cardiac shit started 5 years before I ever used gear.”
The gay porn performer really means when he says that he doesn’t let it get in the way of his work. He continues to star in studio scenes and create fan site content. We recently saw him stretch Eddie Patrick’s hole and join an orgy in Double Wide. You can check out those scenes and more at NakedSword.com here.
Love his porn work but he really like to act like he’s perfect mentor and better than anyone else, which really annoyed me.
I don’t know? Maybe stop using steroids??? Duh
I don’t really understand his logic or point in sharing all this. Like, is the message supposed to be, no excuses because I give the illusion of being healthy even though I’m suffering from all these issues my obvious bulking and poor lifestyle choices gave me? He repeatedly brings this up like it’s somehow aspirational. I don’t know, but something about this guy and some of those tattoo choices makes me a little suspicious to begin with.
That’s what happens with steroids
Does he want a prize?
Mind your own business and take care of yourself and your loved ones. No need to compare or make yourself sound superior when you’re not
Well, he’s not attacking anyone in particular, why do you have to be so rude to him?
