There are plenty of reasons to watch Fellow Travelers. The most obvious are stars Matt Bomer and Jonathan Bailey having hot, sweaty gay sex. Somehow, we lucked out with two of the more attractive men on the planet playing tortured gay lovers in the decades-spanning love story that starts in the ‘50s and ends in the ‘80s. And the limited series just won a Peabody Award, so there’s that for the highbrow among us.
But honestly, it’s Pride Month, and the whole series is filled with Bailey and Bomer fucking. Get a taste of what’s in store across all eight episodes now that Showtime and Paramount+ have released Episode 1, “You’re Wonderful,” to stream for free.
The first episode of Ron Nyswaner’s miniseries should get you hooked. Rough, sweaty anonymous sex that ends with a slap on the ass and a cigarette? Check! Bridgerton and Wicked star Jonathan Bailey putting Matt Bomer’s foot in his mouth? Fellow Travelers has it. Steamy banter in public? Armpits? Handjobs? Look, Fellow Travelers is the gay show we’ve been waiting for.
Not that Fellow Travelers is the first time Bailey and Bomer have flashed skin in a project. Bailey, of course, had plenty of steamy (straight) sex scenes on Season 2 of Bridgerton, not to mention a bum-baring turn on Phoebe Waller-Bridge’s Crashing. And Bomer famously stripped down to a g-string in Magic Mike, while he also got his ass out for everything from The Normal Heart to American Horror Story: Hotel.
Both stars have had some serious thirst traps on Instagram lately. Bailey just ran the London marathon (those arms!) and paparazzi caught Bomer on the beach in a very small swimsuit filming a new movie. So even with Fellow Travelers over and done, both men will keep giving us what we want: Their talent. (Their talent?)

Stream the first episode of Fellow Travelers on Paramount+ now and subscribe for the full eight-episode season. (But there’s not a lot of foot stuff after Episode 1 if that’s going to make a difference.)
You explained it’s a series and where to watch it! Good job, Sword Writers!
