The only thing more unnecessary than another pointless app that’s supposed to help you try and hook up via your phone is another viral video advertising the pointless app that’s supposed to help you hook up via your phone.
This one’s called “Guy Spy” (great, just what I want, someone spying on me).
Awful! This doesn’t make me want to do anything. Doesn’t make me want to have sex. Doesn’t make me want to eat. It certainly doesn’t make me want to go fuck with something on my phone. It doesn’t even tell you what Guy Spy is. Would you have known that this was a hook-up app?
Do any of these things actually get people laid? I’m asking because I refuse to use one, and all I ever here is people complaining. Complaining about how someone didn’t look like their pic on Grindr. Complaining that they got rejected on Grindr. Complaining that someone was using someone else’s pic on Grindr. Complaining about how Grindr deleted their pic. Complaining about the racists on Grindr. Complaining about the douche bags on Grindr. Complaining about seeing their gross neighbor/family member/friend on Grindr. (I don’t mean to pick only on Grindr, but they’re still the main one.) I think people like complaining about failing to have good sex because of a hook-up app more than they actually enjoy having good sex. Also, what is even the point of a new hook-up app like this, as if it’s going to attract a different demographic than the one Grindr’s already targeting (and failing)? At what point do you stop downloading things to your iPhone and just give up?
That video really is hilariously bad lol, if the app is as good as the marketing I reckon they’re on to a winner here.
