Lewis Freese

Meet The First Male Swim Search Finalist For ‘Sports Illustrated’

Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue might be getting a major shakeup in the near future! Model and gorgeous twink Lewis Freese is making history as the publication’s first-ever male finalist for their annual Swim Search.

The Minnesota native and full-time student is one of the fifteen finalists that could possibly appear in Sports Illustrated. Six of the fifteen finalists will be included in the magazine’s iconic Swimsuit Issue.

Lewis, who identifies as male, told Out Magazine that being a finalist for the magazine has let him take a moment to reflect on himself and his own gender identity and fluidity.

“I’m only 21 and I feel like I just started my road of coming out,” Lewis said. “Even since the beginning of my Swim Search journey last August, I’ve discovered that my gender fluidity is always present and some days I wake up feeling like I fall under multiple gender identifications.”

While we have no idea if Lewis will end up being selected to appear in Sports Illustrated, it’s exciting to learn that there’s a possibility of a queer man gracing its pages.

We can’t wait for this cutie to deliver some poolside Towel Boy realness and give us some sultry swimwear snapshots for the legendary magazine.

What do you think about Lewis possibly getting on the pages of Sports Illustrated? Which male model do you want to see join him for an XXX ocean photoshoot? Sound off in the comments below!

  1. Can we find a real man with a hairy chest and no make up please? So fking tired of these sissy ass ‘models’ that looks like a twig. No. f NO. Look at that fking photo, even his legs are wearing make up and photoshopped to death so they resemble twigs. Next thing you know it’ll be all over the place, I’m in ‘transition’, call me US, all that BS.

  2. He is beautiful. However, I find it odd that the first male model they featured was one that they viewed as closest on the continuum to their typical fare. Even with a rise in bisexuality, I’m not sure his aesthetic is mainstream or consistent with their readership. His jail-bait Helix studio appeal only seems to reframe the creepiness of the male gaze that defines the issue.

  3. Pull the swimmers up a bit more and he’d be able to taste them. So fucking girlie!
Does the sword have any men that arent girlie or covered from head to toe in tats?

  4. He’s Sports Illustrated material. Wish the best of luck. He does have a sexy thing going on and I would put money down that nude photos are coming. It’s OK Lewis. Congratulations!

    1. Same. Good for him in his journey for his career and I hope he goes on to do amazing things but I’m not finding him to be sexy at all.

      1. Congrats on him following his passion. But I don’t find him even slightly attractive or “sexy.” Not everyone that’s thin with manicured eyebrows is model material.
