A basic cable sports channel that is also a magazine(?) has put an issue of their magazine featuring naked athletes onto their website, and it’s all so weird.
“The Body Issue” from ESPN Magazine (if you have to put out a magazine in 2011, it might as well be one that shows a lot of skin because “sex sells,” etc.) purports to be celebrating the athletic body in its purest form, but these pictures are sort of creepy? An issue celebrating bodies should just show us the bodies! Not insane Photoshopped versions of the bodies.
Most of the 2011 people have weird androgynous bodies as mentioned. But I took a look at 2010 – good night! Almost everyone in that album looked like a 50-cent wannabe porn star – all shitty, stupid tattoos and uuuuuuuuugly.
The really airbrushed look can get a little strange, but their photo of Ryan Kesler is damn hot so I don’t care.

Sorry, but I don’t think “weird”, “creepy”, or “gross” when I see those pictures. In fact, I recommend clicking on the link to ESPN and viewing the full gallery. (Note: the linked page has auto-start video, which annoys the crap out of me.) The 2nd photo of Apolo Anton Ohno and the image of Ryan Kesler are stunning.
wait, you mean that Asian woman is Apollo Ohno??? that’s a bit disturbing
actually nevermind that’s not him lol. his photos in there tho they are badass. he’s always been quite the looker!
“It’s time for androgyny – it’s just Pat!”
These look like women on men’s bodies…
