Nobody wants to be at some massive, expensive, bridge-n-tunnel clusterfuck on New Year’s in NYC, and the cool kids will be finding house parties to bounce between.  But if you’re stuck in town without any better options, we recommend sticking to the East Village.  There’s always BoysRoom, or the Phoenix, or our tried and true favorite: Easternbloc.  Sure, it’ll be crowded, but if you stake out a corner around 10 PM you should be alright. Just keep drinking.
