We’ve noted Playgirl‘s shift to recognize its male readership on several occasions, but we hope the new web concern features a little more ball-on-ball action.
When we were young and porn was scarce, we’d walk three miles to the nearest Quick Chek magazine rack, hide a Playgirl inside of a Newsweek and hope our photographic memory worked. In later years, we’d pilfer them from bachelorette parties, dig them out of our aunt’s undie drawer and retrieve them from the garbage after we’d convince our older male cousins that they’d be a great gag gift for our fey neighbor. There’s a lot of talk these days about opportunities that today’s youth won’t have, but encouraging acts of homophobia in the hope of seeing a piss-slit in print isn’t talked of nearly enough.
