[UPDATE – Monday June 11, 2018]

“Foul play is not suspected in the death of a man reported missing over the weekend from a Rosemont convention, police say,” according to a new article in the DailyHerald.

“When Rosemont police checked with the medical examiner’s office, they learned that Hanlon had died Friday in Chicago. He was found unresponsive inside a restaurant bathroom in the 100 block of West Jackson Boulevard at 11:35 a.m. Friday, Chicago police said.

He was taken to the emergency department at Rush University Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, police said.”

AZCentral adds, “police said syringes were found inside the bathroom. The Medical Examiner’s Office said the cause and manner of death is pending.”

The results of an autopsy to determine Hanlon’s cause of death are pending, according to the medical examiner’s office.”

This is a developing story.

We will update this post as more facts become available.

  1. tragic loss, however, the porn companies will continue to make money on all the vids these dead guys made. Since the porn companies are doing so much testing for stis, how about testing for drugs too? If the “stars” are on drugs, no work. Really about time to stop calling these people stars too. They are sex workers & the porn companies are their pimps.

  2. I saw him so vivid and hypersexy on the actual cover of the hunt emag #179 and wanna know more about this man….so I am so shocked now to find this news.. R.I.P:

  3. I didn’t know this performer well and everyone needs to be RESPECTFUL during this time. Sending my condolences.

  4. Wow. I am saddened by this. I was a fan of him and followed him on twitter. He always always would like my comments I left him. He made it really easy to like him.

My only hope is this was something natural and he wasn’t in pain or battling any deamons as I keep reading.

Dave was a beautiful soul, who should have had many more days ahead.

Fly high man. Be at peace and watch over those who love you.

  5. Too soon. My heart goes out to Dave and all his family and friends. You are such a sweetheart, so kind and only wanted to make everyone around you happy. Our adventure ahead just began and ended too soon. Big hugs to you beautiful. Thank you for the fun times.

  6. No change has happen

Not being negative but how can we all come together when this cycle that’s been happening in the adult industry where I see pornstars saying we should stand together as a family but after August Ames comminted suicide last year nothing had changed from that it went back to the same shit we see everyday nothing but drama and fighting and seeing billy santoro is just wanting to start more drama blaming others in the industry instead try help everyone in the adult industry who needs help with mental health issues with him doing that. where we should be banning together helping others who are suffering with depression and mental health issues. Once I see something change with all the pornstars coming together Making the adult industry a better place then its now I be glad but if they can’t do that with August Ames and now Dave slicks death there’s no hope with the adult industry it’s gonna be nothing but a toxic industry where everyone pretends they care and just bullies one another. There going backwards on there word and not going forward on making a change and fixing the problems in the adult industry.

  7. What a tragic loss. I only knew Dave thru CB and he was amazing. I am really sad. I can not imagine how his family and friends and his community are feeling. My thoughts are with them. RIP Dave.
