Ricky Martin was joined by other celebrities such as Luis Fonsi, Emilio, Chayanne, and Gloria Estefan who arrived to lend a hand before the President and stayed there after he left.
Ricky was on The Ellen Show last week raise awareness of the tragedy of Hurricane Maria’s devastation while our government’s response trickled out at a glacial pace.
He accepted a check for $80,000 from Cheerios and General Mills to help the efforts in Puerto Rico.
Not only did he show the supplies he purchased with the check, he has been working non-stop, and not just when the camera were rolling, to get those supplies into the hands and mouths of those who needed them most. Surprised? Me neither.
Ricky and his partner, Jwan Yosef, are part of the relief effort.
