#RIP Hugh Hefner

Playboy magazine founder Hugh Hefner died today at the Playboy Mansion at age 91.

With money he borrowed from his mother and making Marilyn Monroe his first centerfold in 1953, we all owe a debt of gratitude to what Hugh Hefner. He challenged the uptight American sensibility by bringing sexuality out of the bedroom and into the mainstream.

Did you know he was also an early and vocal heterosexual advocate for the gay rights?
