RuPaul is known for spewing out 1,000,000 different pop culture references on RuPaul’s Drag Race, but we never expected everyone’s favorite dragged-up host to start talking about everyone’s favorite porn star!
During last night’s episode of Drag Race, RuPaul and Michelle Visage had one of their classic chats with the top four. Throughout Gottmik’s sit down, the three talked about Gottmik’s transition, how they decided on the name Gottmik, and how they came up with the name Kade.
While joking around with Gottmik, RuPaul said that Kade, Gottmik’s name out of drag, sounds like a porn star name and that’s when the contestant revealed that they actually mopped the name from a porn star! Take a look below:

Gottmik has yet to reveal the actual porn star that inspired their name, but we have some suspicions of who it might be!
I mean, the most famous Kade/Cade in the adult industry has to be Falcon|NakedSword exclusive Cade Maddox, so I think it’s pretty safe to assume that Gottmik is a huge Cade stan – or they’re at least a huge stan of his name!
And in case you’re wondering, Gottmik 100% does know who Cade Maddox is! In a tweet from Friday night, Cade Maddox commented on the speculation that he may have inspired Kade’s name and confirmed that the two have actually met before. The porn stud said that “it’s a great name” and that Gottmik/Kade is “one of the sweetest guys” in LA.

In addition to Gottmik, we think there’s a good chance that RuPaul might also be a big fan of Cade’s. During Gottmik’s interview, the host was very quick to point out that Kade is “a porn star name.” In all honestly, he was a little too quick to point it out.
Based on that and that alone, we think that Ru at least knows who Cade is and has maybe even watched one or two of his scenes!
Now we just need to find a way to get Cade to become a member of next season’s pit crew. I mean, if the host loves Cade and the contestants love Cade, there’s no reason why this big-dicked muscle hunk shouldn’t be on the show!
What really is the big deal here? Ru Paul cannot watch porn? And that guy is the only person in porn to ever has the name Cade? Big mf deal, people.
Cade the guy who jumped in line to get the vaccine by lying about working for uber. He’s a disgusting human being.
Why would this surprise anyone? RuPaul directed (and played a non-sexual role in) a gay porn scene for Lucas Entertainment about ten-fifteen years ago.
