The L.A. City Council’s completely unenforceable law (which comes courtesy of the hypocritical sleazebags from AHF and a lying hooker named Derrick Burts) that requires porn stars to wear condoms goes into effect next month, but city officials don’t have to worry about how they won’t be able to enforce their ill-advised and ineffective law, because all of the porn stars are just going to go have sex without condoms somewhere else. Las Vegas.
It’s more proof that everything AHF does is a counterproductive failure. The porn will continue to be shot, STD testing will continue to be a reliable method in preventing the spread of disease, and consumers will continue to have the right to watch what they want to watch.
The real losers are L.A. County and its citizens, who won’t reap the benefits of any of the tax and licensing revenue that these particular adult productions generated. Oh well.
You have to appreciate these local news clowns and their talent for sensationalizing. Professional porn shot on a closed set in a controlled environment is conservative in a state with legalized prostitution and illegal day workers on every corner of the strip passing out pussy mags, call girl flyers, and sex club coupons. If the idea of L.A. porn producers relocating to Las Vegas is controversial to anyone who lives there, please let me know.
