We know the US voted against the United Nations resolution condemning the death penalty for gay people. Today, they are trying to explain there way around it.
The US joined 12 others in opposing the resolution: Botswana, Burundi, Egypt, Ethiopia, Bangladesh, China, India, Iraq, Japan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates.
The Trump administration’s “defense” of their position & rationalization behind their vote is to make a bigger statement of what they are really fighting for. And it sure ain’t us.
The most civil word I can muster is disgust. The rest borderline on treason. How hard is it right now to be a proud American but be deeply ashamed of our country?
