Study: Suck All the Poz Dick You Can

The website AIDSmap has helpfully summarized the study, which studied gay couples in long-term relationships in which one partner was HIV-negative and one partner was HIV-positive.  The study found that repeated exposure to a partner’s HIV-positive semen triggered an immune reponse in the saliva of the HIV-negative men which effectively reduced their risk of becoming infected.

But listen up, oral whores!  Don’t think this is your Get Out of AIDS Free card to go blow ten guys in the steam room tonight.  Due to the existence of different mutations and strains of the virus, and the fact that this study was confined to partners in committed relationships, the study only confirms the immune/saliva response in the case of a single partner’s specific virus.
