I’m not sure how you could have missed it, but the short film “The Disgustings” delighted everyone on the internet last year.
It also played the gay film fest circuit, and it stars the hilarious (and these days ubiquitous) Drew Droege alongside Jordan Firstman, who wrote and directed it.
Now it looks like they got picked up by Hulu to make some more shorts (there also seems to be some connection with the Hulu show “Difficult People”), and the first has just arrived, called “Save the Date.”
In it, they run around Los Angeles harassing everyone they see on a date, telling them how terrible they are. It’s real fun.
“Drop those weights. They’re lies.”
