The Tumblr That Interviewed Seth Knight Would Like You To Know That, Just Like Vogue And Elle, They Also Have A Website

I can’t.

First, thank you to my tipster “Atta Girl” for pointing me to the above tweets, which I wouldn’t have seen since they were being sent to NakedSword and not TheSword, which covered Revolutionary Gay’s Tumblr interview with Seth Knight.

AND: While Revolutionary Gay magazine does have a Tumblr and a Facebook linked in their Twitter profile (but no evidence of a print magazine, just like Vogue and Elle ), there’s no official website. Oh wait, here it is.

  1. OMG, I actually clicked on the link and I saw way too much!!! If I wasn’t gay before, I am now! I am also never eating chocolate cake again! Damn you Zach for leaving a link that I could not refuse!!! #Rosebud

  2. OH LOL!!!! I can’t either. But will try. Lets start with: WTF is that cover? Who was the stylist? Don’t only elderly ladies name Polly and Esther wear monochromatic outfits (with matching earrings usually)? and whats with the model’s body language? Is that Pinocchio in a blonde wig? Are you telling me they picked this pic out of a hundred? who green-lighted this? the editor?!?!?

Also, putting down porn quite blatantly by saying they don’t expect much professionalism from a porn-based website while at the same time having the name MICHAEL LUCAS splashed across the cover and interviews with porn people (especially famous ones like Seth Knight) really shows that they are quite clear on what they stand for.

  3. I’m kind of disappointed for a magazine that calls itself ‘revolutionary’ I was hoping for some articles on anti-oppression radical economic and sexual theory.
Instead I found out what albums are missing from my collection.

  4. Well, it’s all in how you define a [fart] website.

REVGAY Magazine. “Gay Pop Culture At It’s Finest!” But only if you like Tumblr style gay culture linked from a mostly benign, free blog template, with a dotcom address! No active links, no advertising, no nothing!

Now that’s what I call revolutionary!
