As we discussed earlier there are a lot of very young tranny prostitutes in Thailand seeking back-alley sex changes these days; and unlike in the U.S. where the average age of those seeking sexual reassignment surgery skews older (age 50 in 2005), trans people in Thailand tend to seek sex changes, on average, in their 20s. Whether this idea for 3rd-gender bathrooms catches on in the broader Thai landscape remains to be seen.
