About 100 of San Francisco’s loveliest ladies boarded two buses at 20th and Valencia on Saturday morning. The rest can best be described as a fog to which only pictures can do justice. Here’s a quick timeline.

 Saturday, April 11th, 2009, 11AM: The queens roll up to Retro Fit in San Francisco to board their buses to Reno. Some, still sober and attending meetings following last year’s outing, arrive with thermoses of Red Bull. Others wash their morning medication down with Popov vodka. |
 11:05AM: A scared, confused Jewish mother embarks to join the bus in search of her missing daughter, Stephanie (born Stephen). |
 11:06AM: Drags queens are confronted by said scared mother and her frantic search for Stephanie. |

 11:45AM: Pollo Del Mar looking scared as she faces a busload of drag queens already drunk/high. |
 12:33PM: Ambrosia Salad hits some bumps along the way to Reno. |
 12:48PM: Lunchtime! The queens arrive at McDonald’s in Auburn, California and proceed to frighten local children. |
 1:05PM: Smoke/dance break next to Ronald McDonald’s Playtown. |
 2:08PM: Ladies get ready to depart. Incidentally, a tour bus full of Asians also pulled into the parking lot as the tranny bus arrived, offering many unique photo opportunities. When several inebriated trannies then tried to board the wrong bus to leave, the busdriver and several passengers began screaming. |
 5:52PM: After a long and confusing ride through the Sierras, the queens arrive in Reno. Coiffed for an Easter feast, drag queens Primadonna Reed and Holy McGrail have risen again. |
 6:01PM: The trannies check in, and Vivvyanne ForeverMore gets ready for the fun by squeezing in a quick workout at the hotel gym. |
 6:02PM: Free drinking begins in the casino, with everyone’s Easter eggs tucked. |
 6:40PM: No one was spared from a blackout, including Russian Red giving Leigh Bowery/blackface. |
 8:30PM: Ambrosia Salad and Lady Bear hit the dessert buffet. Lady Bear knows life is short, and goes straight for the Diabetes Delight. No further pictures from this crew can be found, as by 9PM everyone had either lost their camera or passed out in their room. Those left standing attended the actual Trannyshack performance at Reno’s Ten99 Club. |

 Sunday April 12, 2009, 1:05PM: Easter Sunday brunch back at the McDonald’s in Auburn, in which the sober ones share memories of the night before which no one else has. Vivvyanne ForeverMore performs a number on the counter, and receives no tips from the audience. |
 1:34PM: Like mother, like daughter, like alcoholic (Terry T and Ambrosia Salad). |
 1:56PM: Lady Bear finds a fun new way to enjoy a McFlurry. |
 2:06PM: Trannies scissorfuck streetside on Easter Sunday, Auburn, California. |
 3:45PM: Capping off a long, lost weekend, Terry T revels in her new title as Best Newcomer 2009. Come Monday morning, she will have to be reminded of her new title, and no one has yet to identify the one in the red babushka, who may have hopped aboard at a gas station in Truckee. As it turned out, Stephanie Beecher was not found alive, as she had OD’d on Good Friday. It was a good, good Friday for Stephanie, indeed. |
