One of the things that has so charmed us about NYC show-mo twinks Jeffery Self and Cole Escola is their consistent devotion to Bernadette Peters, and to television actresses of the early 90s, in particular Cybil Shepard and Annie Potts. Today they set their sights on Laurie Metcalf, perhaps most famous for her role as Aunt Jackie on Roseanne, but recently acclaimed for her guest role as Carolyn Bigsby on Desperate Housewives, and in Broadway’s “November” opposite Nathan Lane.
We shall continue to savor the boys’ minor YouTube creations, until they write a full length Joyce feature and become wildly gay-famous.
