Watch: Runner Loses Race After His Dick Keeps Falling Out Of His Shorts

Note to self – if you’re going to compete in a 400-meter race, make sure to wear underwear under your short shorts. Italian athlete Alberto Nonino just learned that the hard way while racing at the 2022 World Athletics U20 Championships.

According to the Daily Star, the 18-year-old runner decided to make “the rash decision to go commando” for his event and ended up losing after his penis began repeatedly falling out the bottom of his shorts. While he did kick the race off with a strong start, his penis problems caught up to him in the final stretch and he was seen reaching for his junk at least six different times as his wardrobe malfunction occurred. This predictably caused him to fall behind and unfortunately finish in last place.

Sports journalist David Sanchez de Castro confirmed the incident by tweeting that “his penis escaped out of the side of his shorts and he had to hold it because it wasn’t allowing him to run properly which is normal when your dongle is swinging from side to side.”

Alberto later responded to his dick slip “rumpus” through an Instagram story by saying that while the situation has been difficult to go through, he’s trying to look on the bright side of things.

“I just want to talk to you a little bit about the rumpus there’s been on blogs and social media in general. I’m conscious it was obviously an accident and I’d like to tell you I’m aware of the reaction and you don’t need to send me the links to the blogs out there,” said the athlete. “I’m trying to laugh about it now but immediately afterwards I felt terrible and I’m thankful to my friends and family for helping me get over what happened a few hours later.”

  1. Of course it wasn’t exactly a “race”. It was the 400 m event of the decathlon. So it’s not whether you win or lose, it’s how fast you finished the 400 m.

  2. If you were an athlete popular with the ladies in the year 776 B.C. at Olympia you would have beaten yourself to death during the 400M track event…
