Steve Sisolak, a current candidate for Governor of Las Vegas, posted a plea to Twitter asking for people to donate blood, which was retweeted by the Mayor of Las Vegas, Carolyn Goodman.

So let me get this straight, no pun intended, it’s still “too early” to discuss gun control or mental health, yet despite the need, the ban on donating blood as a result of old legislation and fear is also allowed to stand. Makes my blood boil. Pun intended. Makes you wonder how far we’ve come doesn’t it?
