I’m just noticing that at least three of the Canadian/French-Canadian models at Men of Montreal have lip piercings, and some others have other facial/tongue piercings too. Don’t they know that shit gets infected?
Apparently this must be quite fashionable among the Montreal gays. And it even cropped up in a new scene today.
Montrealer Jake Bass, for one, isn’t sporting his anymore, though. Maybe this means the fashion is over.
Exhibit A: The new scene, featuring a lip-ringed Pascal Aubrey (right) flip-flopping with the site’s MVP, Felix Brazeau.
Exhibit B: Model Kamal Ali (left), who is a very big boy.
Exhibit C: Model Ivan Lenko (the bottom), who also sports a lip piercing.
Exhibit D: Ben Rose, who sports a nipple ring, an eyebrow piercing, and a tongue piercing, which seems to have caught the light weird in this scene.
Exhibit E: Jake Bass. He’s not on Men of Montreal, but the CockyBoys exclusive does live in Montreal. He used to have two studs in his lips, which he doesn’t seem to wear anymore, as well as one in his cheek, also gone.
Currently:
The piercings aren’t that bad, I kinda like it (but I like guys with a slight ‘alternative’ vibe). Too bad they’re most of the time in combination with the most horrendous tattoos!
I like Ben Rose those are bad pix of him though. Jake Bass I can tolerate in small doses but who is the twink behind him with the earrings ? Kinda cute..
Lip rings look like you have food on your face. If a guy has hot lips, a dangling piece of metal is a distraction. If he doesn’t have hot lips, a lip ring is that much more unappealing. As much as I like tattoos, in my experience, neck tattoos are for those with some really fucked up life issues. Either meth-heads, or serious mommy/daddy family issues.
Pascal is the only one that’s working it.
I didnt find Jake attractive, GABRIEL CLARK is still the most handsome guy that city has ever produced. No doubt about it.
different strokes… different folks. I personally don’t dig them… especially nose rings – the ones in the middle not the nostrils. But I dig tattoos.
