We can’t meet random men on apps and hookup. We can’t go outside and hookup. We can’t go to bars and hookup. All we have is the internet… Well, not anymore! Zoom, the group video platform many people have been using for online sex parties during quarantine, is toying with the idea of cracking down on any illicit behavior.
“Zoom‘s user policies explicitly prohibit any obscene, indecent, illegal, or violent activity or content on the platform,” a spokesperson for the platform told Rolling Stone. “”We encourage users to report suspected violations of our policies, and we use a mix of tools, including machine learning, to proactively identify accounts that may be in violation.”
According to their “acceptable use” policy, those indecent activities could include anything that “displays of nudity, violence, pornography, [and] sexually explicit material.” So if these rules are actually enforced, say goodbye to your giant group jack off sessions and hello to.Zoom’s “machine learning tools” becoming the world’s biggest cockblock. The company hasn’t described what type of “machine learning tools” are going to be or are currently implemented, but they emphasized that Zoom does not currently monitor the contents of video calls.

This lockdown will eventually be lifted. If you can’t restrain yourself from having sex online, on a platform that says it’s not allowed, then you’ve just ruined it for yourself.
