Your 2010 Round-Up Of Gay Porn Stars Caught Breakin’ The Law

It’s been a busy year for adult performers behind bars. Following Steven Daigle’s arrest last night, isn’t it time to catch up on all the other porn stars who have found themselves in handcuffs (not counting their fetish movies) in 2010? Yes, it is time.

Here are all the porn stars in jail-related stories that The Sword has reported on or broken this year. If I missed any, be sure to let me know in the comments, you guys.

robert-van-damme-arrested-1Performer: Robert Van Damme
Charge: Domestic violence. Van Damme allegedly had a violent altercation with his wife, Bianca, in their Orange County home last May. He spent nearly two months in jail while awaiting trial.
Status: Out of jail, charges dropped, and started his own new porn company.

a_jeremy

Performer: Jeremy Bilding
Charge: DUI. Bilding was arrested in June for driving under the influence, spent the night in a San Diego jail, and later publicly apologized on his blog for driving drunk.
Status: Out of jail, on probation, and about to appear in Naked Sword’s new original series, Golden Gate.

tag1Performer: Tag Adams
Charge: Attempting to coerce or entice a minor through means of interstate and/or foreign commerce. In his series of letters from jail, Adams maintains that he was set up by federal officials.
Status: In a Washington D.C. jail, awaiting trial.

damon-audigier-arrested-for-murder-thPerformer: Damon Audigier
Charge: Arrested in connection to the murder of an 18-year-old Oklahoma man. At the time of his arrest in March, Audigier’s actual involvement in the fatal stabbing was unclear.
Status: Out of jail and cleared of any wrong doing; still a porn star and also a cosmetologist/drag queen, according to his Twitter.

pat-bateman-jail-th

Performer: Patrick Bateman
Charges: Sexual battery and sexual intercourse with a minor. Bateman’s arrest was in 2009, but I wasn’t able to track down his arrest report until March. Comments that Bateman’s crimes were years ago–when he was 18 and his girlfriend was three months younger than him–and that he was only jailed for missing a meeting with his probation officer have popped up here and elsewhere.
Status: Released from jail this past summer and back on Rentboy!

adenmugshot

Performer: Aden Jaric
Charges: Assault, Harassment. Aden was accused of beating his husband Jordan Jaric with a glass paperweight, in the face, following a drunken drag show in Portland, Oregon. A war of words erupted between the two, Jordan stopped doing porn, and they’ve both started seeing other people.
Status: Out of jail, charges dropped, still a Falcon exclusive.

  1. All this mess, because individuals and American Society can not accept who and WHAT we are. Give it up breeders, we don’t put you down just cause you were born that way. We fully understand you have instincts that can not be calmed without breeding. But please be more careful, the planet doesn’t need any more of you. We understand it all just comes back to DNA. Look at all the problems you cause by being such wonderful, lifelong Haters. Makes everybody feel welcome on the Planet.

DNA applys to whether you’re one of the lucky ones that HIV medications work for, or not. Sex without condoms should be illegal in front or in back of the camera. If you’re not one of the lucky ones, go ahead, don’t alter your schedule, you live another 5 years even with full blown AIDS. Go ahead and just spread it around. At least you’ll be leaving behind some form of Legacy once dead.

    Luv y’all, MT

  2. Speaking of Pat Bateman, what’s up with him now? Has he done any interviews since being released? Can he come back to the industry? Just wondering because he was one of my all-time favorite porn stars.

  3. I won’t drag this out anymore. I’m just saying as someone who knows a few people who have been screwed over by the system, it wouldn’t surprise me in the least if what Pat’s saying is true. I know we’re all entitled to our opinion, I’ll just leave it at that.

  4. You don’t think trumped up charges happen? I’m sorry Estelle, I would tend to believe Pat more than the legal system. I just don’t trust it and like I said before, if the minor was three years younger or more, he probably would have been convicted for statutory, which would mean (I assume) that he’d have to register as a sex offender and wouldn’t have been able to do porn in the first place. Especially since he’s a male and the system tends to be harsher with men in these cases than with women. And unless he’s looking for public sympathy, what would he stand to gain by lying about it?

  5. No you can’t gerryjohn. He had felony charges. No gerryjohn that isn’t true about intercourse vs. oral copulation. One of the convictions was for a charge where force was present. No gerryjohn the California law is specific about what is a misdemeanor and what constitutes a felony. You can’t imagine that someone doing porn would lie? You can’t imagine that a criminal would lie about their crime? Go to a prison and find out how many people lie and won’t admit what they did. You have to be kidding about probation vs. jail time. There are COUNTLESS cases where the sex crime was much worse and the offenders got probation for what they did. It happens all the time.

  6. You CAN, however, make up charges, or word them as such to make it appear worse than what the actual crime was. Didn’t Pat or someone else say on Unzipped that sex was a misdemeanor and oral was a felony? I seem to remember that. Perhaps it’s a felony under their guidelines no matter if the minor is 3 yrs. younger or not. Anyway, I can’t imagine that he would lie about the charges – he’s already served his time and I can’t see that he would have anything to gain by lying about it. And I still think if the minor was 3 yrs. younger or more, he would have served time back then instead of just being put on probation. That would have been statutory rape, right? Something about this case just doesn’t sound right.

  7. gerryjohn the CA law has specific guidelines into what makes these crime and misdemeanor and a felony in terms of age. A few of “Bateman’s” charges were felonies. You can’t make up someone’s age.

  8. If it was with a minor more than three years younger, don’t you think it would have been statutory rape, therefore giving him a much harsher sentence than his merely being on probation? I know the picture you’re talking about, I read it myself. Keep in mind that this is the legal system you’re talking about and that they can make up any charges they want against you, it doesn’t always mean that that’s what you really did. And if you know the right people, you can always get someone to trump up the charges. I’m not saying that this is absolutely what happened, just that it’s possible. God knows things like that have happened before. And again, I have to question if this whole case would have been an issue if Pat had been a female in the same situation.

  9. Or gerryjohn could it be possible that he was LYING about what the charges were. When Zach was working at Unzipped he had a picture of the charges Pat Bateman was convicted of. There were several felonies which according to California law involved sexual contact w/a minor more then 3 years younger then the accused.

  10. I’d like to know how Patrick Bateman could have been charged in the first place if he was 18 and his girlfriend was 17 and all their sex was consensual. Every state has its own age of consent, and at 17 years old, the girlfriend was clearly at the highest age you can be to give your consent to have sex without legally being an adult. This case just reeks of trumped-up charges and stereotyping. Do you think an 18 yr. old female would be charged for having consensual sex with her 17 yr. old boyfriend?? All I can say is – Hmmmmmmm………..

  11. With all of the different g4p’ers listed here, I have a thought I would like to share:

I think with the recent outbreak of HIV in the straight side of the industry, gay studios should now exclude those same performers who are ‘switch’ hitters– if gay companies are truly condom only for which some bareback models don’t get work, they should apply the same standard to those who practice non-condom usage in straight productions. This should be about safety and not about stereotypes! AIDS is a serious illness that effects millions worldwide, which predominantly is a ‘straight’ disease.

Productions should make a statement and exclude performers who don’t practice safe sex regardless of which side of the industry they work in. This prevents a double standard that currently exists within the gay side of the industry.

  12. I’m interested in Scott Adler, really rather an “escort” than porn star, but wasn’t he well known on the LA scene and Bruce Vilanch’s “personal assistant”? I thought he was busted at one time and jailed for possession – and the news was printed in the Village Voice or something so it’s not private or anything. Out, In? Trial?

    1. Scott Adler aka Seth Apper is out of jail on a “custodial release,” I don’t know what his legal status is aside from that.

      1. He did a stint in rehab, and is back on the mean streets of WeHo. I’ve seen him, and he looks great. I’m pretty sure he’s 100% sober now. So, good for him! A success story, how about that!
