As NakedSword celebrates the one-year anniversary of the release of the pioneering, hardcore gay indie I Want Your Love this week, they’ve given director Travis Mathews a free platform from which to present his latest edition in the In Their Room series, this one shot in Berlin.
Previous films In Their Room: San Francisco and In Their Room: London explored the sex lives and private thoughts of gay men alone, and often naked, in their own bedrooms. Following I Want Your Love, Mathews made the controversial and widely publicized fictional documentary Interior. Leather Bar. with the help of James Franco. As Mathews told The Sword in an interview last week, he’d never filmed anything sexual until he made In Their Room: San Francisco, launching his career as a filmmaker focused on explicit, but not traditionally pornographic, gay content.
Now, on the I Want Your Love website, you can watch the full 60-minute feature doc In Their Room: Berlin for free through the end of this month (March 31). Also, with the purchase of the I Want Your Love DVD, you’ll get a free digital download of In Their Room: Berlin to keep for your very own.

Having studied in Germany, and visited Berlin a couple of times, I felt like this was VERY realistic, and it took me back. Also, it made me went to smoke, and I’m in the middle of trying to quit, again.
