Things can get messy when it comes to mixing romance and chasing a career in gay porn, and not in a good way. Stigma and jealousy are very real, but it’s also just not a lifestyle for everyone. And then some couples create content together! The hot and hairy Drew Valentino talked about his dating life while working as a gay porn star, which includes a year-long romance with none other than the sexy Eddie Burke.
On the There Are No Gays in Montana podcast, Drew talked about relationship dynamics in the gay porn industry. Some people believe content and relationships should be separate, while others believe there is no issue with dating within the creator pool. But from his perspective, there are plenty of men outside of the industry who claim to be cool with it until something proves otherwise.
But Drew had a different experience, which included dating Eddie. They started OnlyFans around the same time, in the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic, when they became best friends.
“There was absolutely a period, I’d say 2021, where it started to become a more romantic connection, for sure, for a good year,” Drew said. “We kind of toyed around with dating, and ultimately we just decided that we would be better off being friends, but we filmed a lot of content together. Both while kind of dating and while not.”
For them, it just made sense. “We liked each other, and we could record our sex life,” he continued. “I have more videos with him than with anybody else, for sure. But also, if he went to go film with somebody and I went to go film with somebody, we’re not going to be jealous.” Unfortunately, they don’t have a studio scene together…yet.
And in case you’re wondering about Drew’s current relationship status, he also told the podcast he’s currently seeing someone!
Eddie? Huge no. I hope Eddie can be wiser and can learn because mistakes teach lessons. If the person wants to learn…
well, it’s time for a studio scene together… what are studios waiting for? :-)
Maybe the fact that Eddie was arrested for drug possession and distribution when he was about to board an Atlantis Cruise is what’s stoppping them.
When this happened? I had no idea.
