EXCLUSIVE: Big Dipper Tells Us All About ‘Fistgiving’

Are you a fan of Thanksgiving, but always thought the holiday could use a little more fisting? Yes? Well, then the hosts of the Sloppy Seconds podcast have you covered!

Big Dipper and Meatball are celebrating the giving season by hosting their own virtual “Fistgiving” event. The queer rapper and obsessive Wicked stan/drag icon will be joined by adult performer @HungerFF for a unique livestream experience that’s part comedy show, part sex show, and part live fisting demonstration.

In preparation for this fisting feast, we called up Big Dipper and got all the hot info on this streaming event. We talked about everything from what “Fistgiving” viewers should expect to how he thinks Meatball will react to a live fisting to his new leather-themed music video. Check out our full interview below and be sure to tune into “Fistgiving” on Thursday, November 19. Get more info and purchase tickets over at SloppySecondsTickets.com!

Greer: You guys have your livestream event coming up on Thursday. Can you just tell us a little bit about “Fistgiving” and what viewers can expect?

Dipper: Well, we can expect a good fun time and in true Sloppy Seconds form, it’s probably going to be a mess – not referring to the fisting, but referring to the quality of entertainment. We’ve never done a livestream before. We’re very excited to do one. We’re partnering up with HungerFF, who is this prolific adult fisting performer, and we’re coming at it from the lens of comedians and entertainers and he’s coming at it from the lens of an adult entertainer. It’s going to really walk this line of being a comedy show and a sex show and also a real demonstration. We want to get pretty clinical and ask all the questions that people are too uncomfortable to ask.

Yeah, you guys mentioned on the podcast about how this will somewhat be an educational demonstration. Will be getting a step-by-step process on how to fist?

Yeah, I think a lot of people who joke about fisting or sort of make offhand remarks without ever having experienced it, don’t really understand. They make the jokes because they’re uncomfortable and they look at their hand and they think, “How could that ever go inside of someone?” Whereas someone who is into fisting or participates in it finds it not only a sexually pleasurable experience, but I know people who find it very spiritual and mind-opening and a really intense experience. We want to sort of demystify it a little bit and have a place where we can ask the dumb questions, but then also be like, here are tips on cleaning out; here is how you can fit a hand inside of you; here’s how to collapse your knuckles. We want to attack it from all sides.

Meatball emailed me before this interview and wanted to make sure that I’m aware that there are two hosts on the podcast and that I should mention both of you, so let’s talk about Meatball for a second. How do you think Meatball is going to react to a live fisting?

Well, I have told Meatball not to eat beforehand, because Meatball has a tendency to throw up pretty easily. I think fisting is pretty polarizing. I think people are either very turned on by it or completely grossed out by it. I think there will be a lot of screaming and a lot of yelling phrases like, “Do you think your dad is proud of you for this?” That kind of thing. (Laughs) I don’t know! I’ve never been in any close proximity to Meatball during any sort of sexual act, so I don’t know. He might get kinda freaky deaky or he might just completely freak out.

For a while on the podcast, you guys were really obsessed with trying to find someone with a pumped dick and now you guys are focusing more on fisting. Are there any other sexual kinks or areas that you guys want to investigate next?

Yes! We love investigation. We’ve been recently considering ourselves a true crime podcast. We have a special coming out where we dive deep into some drag queen drama. So, I don’t know. Both of those interests have really developed organically, so we’ll sort of see what’s next. I’m fascinated by piercings and that sort of pain thing. I’m not into it at all, but I’m fascinated by people – like, I know someone who has twelve piercings down his dick and balls and I think that’s crazy. We’ll have to see what happens next. Nothing is on the docket to be explored specifically next.

On the podcast, you guys have continually had your “Fuck Talk” segments. Have there been any stories that you guys have received that you’ve found entertaining, but just way too explicit or fucked up to play on the podcast?

Oh no! The more fucked up it is, the more we will play it on the show.

Do you have a personal favorite “Fuck Talk” story from the podcast?

This… This is… Oh, God. I probably shouldn’t say that. Which, of course, makes you want me to say it more… I have always enjoyed when Meatball and I have told some story from our past where we feel like we’re being casual and funny, but then we sort of stumble upon the fact that that story holds some deep-seated root of how we behave as adults. There have been a few moments when we both realized, “Oh, that was a fucked up experience!”

That’s not really entertaining to say that me and Meatball have stumbled upon our own trauma by talking about our sexual past, but those have been my favorite because, not to get too serious, the “Fuck Talk” segment was meant to be this messy thing where we talked about butt fucking and dicks and stuff. It has become a place to feel free and feel like we can sort of just let it all out. I think it sort of encourages other people to do so and it helps destigmatize. We have all had crazy hookup stories and we all have experienced some weird, horrible, embarrassing thing. So I just like the ones where we have realizations.

You also just released a new music video. Can you talk about the concept for the video and why you went with the leather kink theme?

Yeah, I mean, I don’t own a lot of leather. I’m not deeply in the leather community, but I really appreciate it the way I appreciate the drag community. I feel like it’s a really cool expression of how people feel by donning costumes and personalities and roleplay. I really enjoy that and that song has a more aggressive vibe. Usually, my work is a little more happy-go-lucky and I felt like it was the perfect fit.

I wanted to have my turn being in leather and the cool thing is, I didn’t just source a bunch of photos and go, “Ah! That’s what we’re doing!” I talked with a lot of people in the leather community here in LA. We were able to use The Eagle in Los Angeles. A lot of the people who were at the bar – you know, it’s a mix of people. Some people had never worn leather before, but then other people brought a bag full of leather. They were sort of dressing up the newbies and giving them advice. It actually felt like a community event. I was able to tap into the LA leather community and people who have been in that community forever were in the video and danced in the video and loaned gear for the video. I wore one or two things from someone who had recently passed away who was really involved in the community.

Every Big Dipper music video, regardless of how slick they might look, is an all hands on deck, community building video. It was cool to see the leather community work with me on the video… and, you know, display it and hypersexualize it and show the fetish and the fantasy. I really enjoyed that whole process and I think the video turned out really great.

With displaying the sexuality and the fantasy, there’s one shot towards the end of the video that is probably my favorite shot. You’re surrounded by a bunch of hairy, naked men that are on all fours. In the video though, the shot is blurred. Do you find it difficult to express your vision of music videos while still having to deal with YouTube standards?

I mean, kind of, but not really. If I wanted to make porn, I would just make porn. I like making music videos, so that’s what I do, but I do think that the censorship is getting more and more intense, especially on platforms like YouTube and Instagram and especially targeted at queer people and content.

And so, for butts and a little bit of buttcrack, I don’t consider that explicit. I don’t consider the naked body explicit unless everyone is turned on and fucking or engaging in sex. Then I would classify that as explicit or pornographic, but that’s not how a lot of sites on the internet see it.

For me, yeah, I wish I didn’t have to blur stuff, but I just do it because I would rather – this sounds fucked up, but as an independent artist and an underground queer artist essentially – I would rather play by the rules in order to get seen than be like, “Fuck your rules! I’m putting a whole ass up there!” Then one day later, my channel is banned and no one gets to see the video. I’d rather lose a little battle, but ultimately have a whole library of videos on the internet than make a bunch of stuff that no one ever gets to see.

I heard you say in another interview that you were bad with shameless self-promotion, so for this last question, I’d like you to plug yourself, your music, and your 1,000 podcasts. So where can readers find you?

So my music is streaming on all platforms. My newest EP is called The Ham and Cheese EP and, you know, buy that! Then I can actually make a little bit of money. If you stream it, I see no money because I’m not a big-time artist. My music videos are on YouTube and if you want to find me, you can just search “Big Dipper rapper” and I’ll pop up everywhere. I host a podcast called Sloppy Seconds with Meatball. We have our “Fistgiving” episode coming up, which we talked about. I produce a podcast called Race Chaser with world-famous drag queens Alaska and Willam and we also have a podcast network that features podcasts called The Chop with Latrice and Manila and Very That with Delta and Raja and we will have more exciting programming coming in 2021. And you can follow me on Twitter and Instagram @bigdipperjelly.
