Netflix’s Halston is mega-producer Ryan Murphy’s latest ode to fashion’s glamorous past. It’s a five-part miniseries following the rise and fall of the iconic fashion designer Halston. Plus, there’s tons of gay action, these boys but the ass in fASSion!
Ewan McGregor takes on the role of Halston with the confidence and abandons that portraying such a flamboyant character demands. Ewan McGregor is not only one of the sexiest actors he’s also one of the nudest! He’s stripped down for sixteen (yes, sixteen!) nude roles and counting. In Halston, we get to see some of Ewan McGregor’s hottest gay action to date! Sure we loved him in I Love You Phillip Morris, but here, he has a super realistic gay sex scene with 6’4 tall hottie Sullivan Jones. And speaking of Sullivan – we get to see his sweet ass in this hot gay scene!

Meh pass on this. I’m tired of straight actors playing all these LGBTQ roles. Straight actors and studios will fight hard to get these queer themed projects funded but exclude LFBTQ actors. They will make up some lame excuses like “I only play gay if it’s not solely about his sexuality” or “I’m straight but MAYBE I might fall in love with the same gender as mine in the future” or “there’s not enough famous gay people to play these parts” or “the character might be gay”, or most infamously, “it’s called acting.” Biiitch since when do all LGBTQ have the same life and experiences? Come out and say what you really mean. Gay people can’t sell tickets or get viewers. It’s also bugs me that these straight actors call themselves “allies” because if it wasn’t for them these queer projects won’t get made. And they acknowledge the issue and say “it’s a conversation to have” but they don’t actually talk about it or do the necessary steps to help queer actors get work. Colin Firth, for example, said something like this but his next project is about a gay man who cheats on his wife and eventually murders her. What! That is some fake allyship. Y’all support actual queer people.
He’s a very good actor but this series was meh-ish.

WOW, a Professional Actor who often is FULL FRONTAL NUDE in Movies, and is comfortable enoght to play sex scenes with another Male Actor.
But wait! Shouldn’t this role have gone to a gay actor? Where is all the hew and cry over casting straight actors in gay roles? Guess it doesn’t matter when we think the straight actor is hot.
