This would hardly be the first time that a “supposedly” gay politician was in the number two (or even number one for that matter) office. J Edgar Hoover was there decades ago. What would be amazing is if he were out and then held that office. Otherwise he will continue with the same anti-gay views that the Republicans already favour. So glad I moved to London and got out of all that!
