We’ve got some great news for everyone who is sick of accessing OnlyFans through the browser in their phone! The popular content creation site is finally releasing its own mobile app. OFTV is currently available for download on all major services – but just so you know, the app might not be everything you’re hoping for.
Instead of focusing on the nude models and hardcore fuck videos that make OnlyFans worthwhile, OFTV will instead be centered around SFW content like cooking demonstrations and fitness videos. Apple and Google app stores famously don’t allow their apps to prominently feature nudity, so while the pivot to family-friendly makes sense, it just sucks to know that we’ll be using OnlyFans in our phone’s browser for the rest of eternity.
According to Bloomberg, OnlyFans released the OFTV app all the way back in January, but is only now starting to promote it and target those who aren’t on the platform. Bloomberg also points out that this app is part of OnlyFans’ attempt to change its public persona so it isn’t solely synonymous with adult content. They supposedly want to create an image that is similar to other content sites like Patreon or Substack.
The app is currently not being monetized by the company and is free to download. Viewing videos on the app is also free of cost and the platform includes zero advertising. Instead of a direct way to make money, the app is designed to be a “marketing tool for the creators and for the OnlyFans brand.”
“OFTV provides a super convenient way for fans to watch content from favorite creators. There’s no adult content on OFTV. Because it’s not being monetized and there’s no direct impact on creators’ earnings, we are able to be in the app store,” chief executive officer of OnlyFans Tim Stokely said. “People who have come on to OFTV to watch one video may go on to choose another. It’s a wider audience, and perhaps a slightly different audience.”
A quick glance at the app shows that it’s definitely female-centric and is probably supposed to be enjoyed by women or straight men. Even though there isn’t any “explicit” content on the app, there’s still a lot of women showing ample amounts of cleavage in cooking videos and other slightly suggestive content.
At the time of me writing this, there are zero shirtless or sexually suggestive men on the app’s homepage, so if you’re only downloading OFTV to see some potential male hunks, I would maybe hold off until they give the gays something to look at. (I mean, how hard is it to get a shirtless guy in the kitchen for some basic cooking tutorials?! Josh Moore has done naked baking videos before, so we know it’s possible!)

Is the app just as clunky and poorly designed as their website? If so, then I suggest that people don’t download it. Even if it only contains seductive cooking videos.
