Perez Hilton is apparently still around and still reporting on your most basic celebrity gossip. Who knew? The newest mess from Perez starts with a video he says he recently received.
The video involves two mystery men “making out” for four seconds. Perez is saying that the two people in the video are Olympian Tom Daley and a 16-year-old TikTok star. (Neither party been confirmed to be part of the video and this is all speculation on Perez’s part.)

Perez’s Claims
The human trash can and once-popular celebrity blogger says he was sent a video that shows Olympian Tom Daley making out with a 16-year-old TikTok star. Perez announced the existence of the video on his Twitter early yesterday morning. The blogger also said that he is communicating with his lawyer and making sure he does his “duty” to turn in the video to the authorities.
To make this situation even messier, Perez released the name of underage TikTok star when he originally announced this accusatory news on Twitter. He deleted the tweet identifying the boy and said it was a “mistake” to release the TikToker’s name.
Perez has also said that he’s not going to share the video on his website in fear of getting sued. He did, however, share stills of the video and an overly long YouTube video explaining the entire situation.

Age of Consent?
Many people were quick to point out that the age of consent in the UK, where Tom is from, is 16. At first, Perez was saying he did not know where the video was filmed, but he is now saying that it was recorded inside a hotel room in China. Perez has also said that the TikTok star may have been 15 at the time the video was filmed.
“Tom Daley is married to Dustin Lance Black. They have a young child together; a son. And the issue is not (pauses) I’m not alleging cheating. I’m not alleging they have an open relationship, which they probably do,” said Perez in his video. “That’s neither here nor there. That’s not the issue. The issue is: should a 25 or almost 26-year-old man, be kissing a 16-year-old boy? That’s the question.”
Perez also reported rumors that the incident took place at a party in a hotel room that involved alcohol.
“This youngster may have been under the influence of alcohol. A 16-year-old, who is allegedly possibly drunk, as I was told,” said Perez. “Though, I’ve not confirmed that. I’m not saying that’s what happened. Can you consent if you’ve been drinking?”
Twitter’s Reaction
There was a lot of backlash towards Perez for sharing what some thought to be a fake story. Others criticized him for reporting on the story before contacting the authorities.
Some people didn’t see the big deal with the situation and defended the idea of hooking up with someone younger. Twitter user @witnessandrea was dragged by many, many people after tweeting that “every single gay boy made out with older guys at least once in his life.” Many shamed the account for seemingly trying to normalize predatory behavior from older men.
Other accounts agreed with @witnessandrea and said it’s normal for older men to get with teenagers.
“The way you have 15 year olds losing their v card to older men all the time. it’s not that deep,” tweeted Twitter user @jackbhutta.

Perez hilton always makes claims like he matters. Sweetie, you’re not in high school to gossip anymore; you’re well into your 40s and look at least every bit of it.
Hilton is trash, however, so is Daley. I’m so sick of Tom’s desperate bid to be famous. I have no idea why DLB would marry this guy.

It was a spin-the-bottle kind of thing, a split-second non-sexual peck on the lips initiated by the 16-yr-old and egged on by the crowd. Perez has always been a repulsive bottom feeder, this is just more of the same.

Depending on what the legal age is, he should just keep his trap shut. If he still has possession of it, he could be charged with having child pornography. He could be opening the door to charges himself.
