Alexander Skarsgård is a Swedish heartthrob. From HBO’s True Blood to Lars von Trier’s Melancholia, he never fails to get me a bit flustered. Those devilish good looks are only amplified by that charming smile, distinctive voice, and his overall sexy confidence. Now, showing a little bit more skin on the cover of Dust Magazine in a thong — yes, you heard that right.
As a massive fan of jockstraps, I wish Skarsgård were wearing one here, but I’ll take what I can get. I’m also a leg man, and seeing the actor’s prominently featured here is a gift. Dust Magazine styled him in black shoes, long black socks, and a see-through outfit that emphasises his bare chest and the dark thong.
What’s this all for? Well, he’s advertising his upcoming gay kink film Pillion, which sees him playing a dominant leather biker who takes control of a naive submissive played by Harry Melling. He hasn’t been afraid to show some skin on the red carpet throughout this press cycle, and hopefully, we continue to see this.
Skarsgård previously admitted to having sexual experiences with men in the past, but when asked by fellow The Graham Norton guest Miriam Margolyes if he’s gay, he responded with a smile, “No, not really.”
