SF Krampus and the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence Return for the Annual Krampus Pageant to Raise Funds for LGBTQ+ Youth

The 8th Annual Krampus Pageant returns to El Rio in San Francisco! Get ready for drag, monsters, and music — for a good cause.

On Saturday, December 5, SF Krampus and the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence are fundraising for Larkin Street Youth Services, a nonprofit dedicated to ending youth homelessness in San Francisco.

Doors open at 3 p.m., and the contest starts at 4 p.m. It has three rounds: costume, talent, and Q&A. The winner will receive the title of SF Krampus 2026, and other winners will receive prizes and a special-effects makeup package. You can enter to compete here.

“The Krampus Pageant is where camp, chaos, and San Francisco’s naughty ones come together to support our communities in need,” Sister Tilda NexTime of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence said. “We celebrate universal joy while spotlighting the spooky side of the holidays, and every dollar raised helps young people who need it most.”

Donations of $10-$20 are appreciated, but not required to attend.

In previous years, they raised nearly $10,000 to support LGBTQ+ youth.
