Troye Sivan knows how to put together a gay anthem that will play in all the trendiest queer spots. Three years later, plenty of bars and clubs still have “Rush” in their regular music rotation. It’s about time for them to make room for another track from the Australian singer-songwriter.
Sivan dropped “Party” on September 17, and it has been making rounds on social media. And I’m not just talking because of the music. First off, yes, the lyrics are all about gay nightlife.
He samples Madonna’s “Music” in the refrain under the lyrics “Music makes people come together, yeah.” The chorus chants, “Party in the park, party in the bush / Party under the bridge, party at the restaurant / Party at the club, party in the day, party in my house / Party on the way to the party at the park.”
Next, the “Party” music video has plenty of horniness, and it goes back in history to do so. “Medieval version of Rush,” one commenter wrote on YouTube.
His twinky love interest is played by Peter Seggio, who shakes his ass for Sivan, who admires the view. All of that hot and heavy kissing makes Seggio arch his back, ready for his lover’s mouth to rim him silly.
