Zander Lane Announces Retirement In Emotional Twitter Posts

Another one of your favorite performers is retiring from the industry!

Zander Lane just announced on Twitter that he’s taking a step back from porn to focus on his mental health. Last night he posted how tired he was and how he “can’t wait to get a car and get a regular day job and quit porn.” Less than twelve hours later he announced his retirement.

“I feel lost and confused more than usual lately. The only thing keeping me feeling normal is my bf and the future I want to build with him,” Zander tweeted early this morning.

He then posted some lyrics to the Billie Eilish and Khalid song “Lovely.”

“I am retiring from porn from here on out, I will be working on my mental health and working towards a better me. I’ve spent the last few weeks in a bad rut. But it’s time to take off my happy mask and just be real,” Zander tweeted. “Very sorry to all that are upset. But it is time to work on me.”

We wish Zander the best and hope he is able to work on his mental health and become the best version of himself. He has had a fabulous career and we’re grateful that we were able to get to know him and his work during his time in the industry.

Fans can still watch Zander’s past work over at Men.com, Naked Sword, and College Dudes.

  1. You’re making good decisions. Best place to be for anyone who’s questioning their mental health is out of the porn industry. Cherish your boyfriend. Get a job in the real world. Find security, and build your world anew. Establishing your goals is important, and then–keep your eye on the target.
    Good luck.

  2. Never even heard of him… best of luck, however, as one guy leaves, another enters. The industry isn’t built for every person to be a “star”, get a FT job, you will know what tired really is… LOL

  3. He does not have to quit porn. Take time off to refocus on where you want to be . Too many times adult entertainers announce retirements so early, only to come back 2 years later. Burb out in any industry is common. The cause of that is due things going by too fast too soon. You want a every day job, go for it. When you’re good and ready come back to a studio that is willing to work with you and your periodical appearances. Just remember porn is like changing light bulbs: One goes out, just replace it with a new one.
