We already took you through the top-selling porn stars of 2020, but now it’s time to take a look at the biggest porn trends of the past year!
Like our last list of porn stars, this list of data comes from the folks over at AEBN. The list, based on the sales volume of gay porn movie and scene categories on AEBN, shows us the biggest upward trends, downward trends, and overall obsessions gay porn viewers seem to have had throughout 2020.
When comparing this new data to the 2019 AEBN trend list, there’s not much change at the top. Anal, Bareback, and Muscles have been the top three gay terms at AEBN since 2017. The last time this trio was different was back in 2016 when Anal, Bareback, and Safe Sex were the top three terms.
Other top terms for the year include Twink, Daddy, Euro, and Big Dick. So basically, people just like watching scenes with younger guys, older guys, and then a bunch of horse-hung BelAmi scenes.
Other drops include Uniform (-11) and Masturbation (-7). In addition to Uniform, the terms Military (-2) and Cops (-3) also saw drops in popularity throughout 2020, so I guess it’s safe to say that not many people were feeling the police force this year! (The term Pigs (-6) also saw a large drop in popularity, but we’re assuming that in this context, Pigs refers to dick pigs and not police officers…)
