When Troye Sivan says he’s made “the gayest music video” of his career (via Twitter), consider my attention thoroughly piqued. I mean, we’re talking about the artist behind songs like “Rush,” so that’s saying something. He’s talking about his latest single “FF,” which stands for “fucking forever.” It’s a much more romantic aesthetic than his recently released music video for “Party.”
“FF” is about an idealistic love, but it’s also about loneliness and yearning for something more. It’s a deeper, more reflective track that differs from his usual hyper-sexual party tracks that tend to get the most ears.
Of course, Sivan is a twink lover’s dream, but the real eye candy (for me) is actor Felix Mayr, who plays the love interest in this music video. The camera ogles his sexy body and magazine-cover-worthy face. We see the pair make out in the shower, cuddle in bed, and get naughty on the staircase.
